It’s autumn, which means Halloween is approaching and it’s time for… Islamorada Library’s Children’s Costume Contest. Between Oct 1 and 28, families can submit photos of their kids in costume to the library. The costume that gets the most “likes” on its photo on Facebook wins a crammed gift bag, while every contestant who enters gets lots of candy. Yes, multiple entries are allowed. To place a vote, go to the library’s Facebook page at Islamorada Library – Helen Wadley Branch. Scroll through the photos to see the children’s names and ages, then click “like” on the costume you like best. Yes, you can vote multiple times. To enter the contest, please send photos, permission to publish them on social media and in the newspapers, and the child’s name and age and description of the costume to Ms. Charlotte at caria-charlotte@monroecounty-fl.gov. Good luck!
