The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory

This week learn about the life cycle of butterflies with Ms. Trisha then take a virtual look into The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory! Then join in on the fun with the Islamorada branch by helping them grow their fairy garden!

Visit the Islamorada branch to help the faeries make their village as magical and special as can be. Grab a Take ‘n Make kit for all ages, ready to go and create a fairy house. Be as creative as you can be, submit your creation to the Islamorada branch or send in a picture, tell us a story with your creation, we appreciate your contribution!

Here’s what you can do during our Summer Reading Program:

  • Visit the library and check out a book or download an eBook from our digital library
  • Pick up a Goodie Bag each week from the library! Each Goodie bag will have that week’s Reading log  and activity sheet and crafts for you to make at home!
  • Read at least 15- 20 minutes every day and track how many minutes you read on your reading log and mark activities completed on the Bingo sheet.
  • Join in on our virtual programs and in-person events.
  •  Turn in your reading log and Bingo sheet each week to win prizes!
