Islamorada Branch Community Room

The Community Room of the Islamorada Branch serves as the cultural hub of our library, wherein our programs large and small, library or community directed, all take place.

While library programming and County events (such as elections) take precedence, the space is available for reservation by the community for nonprofit use. Call the library for details and to make reservations. A quick rundown of the resources available is below.

• Projector:
  Inputs – Laptops, [some] Tablets, BluRay, DVD, VHS and Cable.
  Output – 720p, 16:10 widescreen or 4:3 standard aspect ratio.
• Screen:
  142″ diagonal, motorized, 16:10 (widescreen) aspect ratio.
• Audio:
  Dolby+ 7.1 surround, THX theater reference, 110 w/channel. Bluetooth audio enabled.
• BluRay / DVD:
  Region free, zone free. PAL and NTSC formats.
• Laptops:
  Native HDMI connectivity. Adapters for VGA, MiniDisplayPort, USB-C and Thunderbolt.
• Workstation:
  Dual-boot MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.13 and Windows 10. Both equipped with wifi, MS Office and multimedia apps.
• Live Sound:
  Wired & wireless microphones, 6 channel audio mixer.
