New! Mahjong Club at the Key West Library

New at the Key West Library - an Adult Mahjong Club, every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All skill levels are welcome to come play the tile-based game of skill, strategy and luck.

Playing Mahjong has several benefits including:

• Keeping dementia at bay.

• Decreasing possibility of depression.

• Improving hand-eye coordination.

• Training concentration and pattern recognition.

• Helping benefit short-term memory

The Library is at 700 Fleming Street. There is a small parking lot behind the building, with an entrance from the 500 block of Elizabeth Street. All adults are welcome at the club; you do not have to have a Monroe County Public Library card to play.
