Movie Matinee: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – Now With Two Screening Times

We’re trying something new this month – TWO screening times for our monthly movie matinee!

We’ll be showing the 1986 classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (PG-13) at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24.

School may be back in session, but everyone deserves a break. Take one with us, Ferris (Matthew Broderick), Cameron (Alan Ruck), and Sloane (Mia Sara) as we cram in an eventful day of Chicago sites through the lens of John Hughes. Maybe you agree with Ferris’ sister Jeannie (Jennifer Grey) that it’s unfair to be taking a day off when others have to work (even when purported to have passed out at 31 Flavors last night). But let us remind you that life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This movie is free and open to all – you do not need a Monroe County Public Library card to attend.
