The Islamorada Library, while small in size, seeks to be expansive in our technological reach to service the community and our visitors.

 

General Computing / Reading Room

• WiFi Access:
  Look for “MC-Public” on your device. Open network; no password. Not recommended for confidential matters.
• Public Computers:
  Laptops are available for use in the library for accessing the internet or using Microsoft Office apps. Device connectivity limited to simple USB storage drives.
• B&W Printing:
  From files or the internet; single or double-sided.
• Color Printing:
  From files or the internet; single or double-sided.
• Copies:
  B&W or color; single or double-sided.
• Scanning:
  Free, with assistance by staff. Output in .pdf format. Documents only, no images.

Presentation & Programs / Community Room

• Projector:
  Inputs – Laptops, [some] Tablets, BluRay, DVD, VHS and Cable.
  Output – 720p, 16:10 widescreen or 4:3 standard aspect ratio.
• Screen:
  142″ diagonal, motorized, 16:10 (widescreen) aspect ratio.
• Audio:
  Dolby+ 7.1 surround, THX theater reference, 110 w/channel. Bluetooth audio enabled.
• BluRay / DVD:
  Region free, zone free. Supports PAL and NTSC formats.
• Live Sound:
  Wired & wireless microphones, 6 channel audio mixer.
• Live Stage:
  DMX stage lighting system, 8 channel, analog & digital controls, optional sound activation.
