Commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in history.

Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987. After the 100 year milestone passage of the 19th Amendment legally protecting women’s right to vote, women continue to be trailblazers, pioneers, innovators, and leaders in their fields.
