Sofia Talvik Concert – Tuesday, April 9
Swedish singer-songwriter Sofia Talvik will perform at the Big Pine Key Library Branch at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. The Library branch is in the Winn-Dixie Shopping Plaza, 213 Key Deer Blvd.
Described as Americana folk with Swedish roots, unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Talvik somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music.
The concert is free and open to the public. You do not have to have a Monroe County Public Library Card to attend.
