The Marathon Branch Library Launches 24/7 Locker System

Marathon Branch Library is pleased to introduce an easy-to-use locker system for picking up items on hold. The self-service locker system is located outside the Library and features 34 locker compartments, along with a touch screen kiosk.
Designed to enhance library services, the lockers provide the public with more flexibility for accessing library books and media outside the library’s regular hours.
When placing a hold online, select “Marathon Holds Locker” to pick up materials at this location. Patrons will receive a notification email when their items are ready for pickup at the lockers.
Holds are available for seven days upon receiving the notification. To use the system, patrons will need to have their library card available, along with their 4-digit library PIN number to access the lockers.
Once they have scanned their library card barcode and completed a series of prompts on the kiosk screen, a locker will automatically open for them to retrieve their materials.
The new locker system will be available starting Tuesday, January 18th.
