“Papa’s Poems: Hemingway’s Poetry” — July 20 at 6PM

As part of Hemingway Days, the Key West Library presents, the Key West Poetry Guild’s annual showcase of Hemingway’s little-known poetry and guild members’ own work on Wednesday, July 20th at 6pm in the library’s auditorium.

Paired with the poetry presentation is the winners’ announcement of the Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition, coordinated by Ernest Hemingway’s author granddaughter, and the first public reading of the winning story. The gathering also features a pre-birthday commemoration (with cake!) of the 123rd anniversary of Hemingway’s July 21 birth.
