Things To DO This Summer at the Library!
Dive into reading this summer during our Summer Reading program with Ocean of Possibilities. Then spend some time as a reading volunteer at the Key West Parrot Rescue!
What is the Summer Reading Program?
Every summer, MCPL offers Summer Reading programs to keep kids and their families reading all summer long. We believe reading is a fundamental skill. Summer Reading is a community tradition that promotes reading for fun and lifelong enrichment. We create an encouraging framework for learning for all ages during the summer. Reading together as a family helps prevent summer learning loss and encourages strong communication & bonding. Summer Reading isn’t just for kids but for teens as well.
